Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the OnlyPrompt application for macOS ("OnlyPrompt"), the OnlyPrompt Remote application for iOS ("OnlyPrompt Remote"), and the website onlyprompt.app (collectively, "Services").

1. What We Collect

OnlyPrompt and OnlyPrompt Remote do not collect, store, transmit to our servers, or sell personal data. The apps do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, user accounts operated by us, or cloud sync operated by us. All user preferences (theme, presets, layout) are stored locally on your device.

The website onlyprompt.app includes an optional waitlist sign-up for OnlyPrompt Ultra (see Section 3).

2. YouTube API Services

OnlyPrompt uses YouTube API Services to display live chat messages from your YouTube live streams within the app.

YouTube live chat messages may include personal data provided by chat participants, such as usernames, profile images, and message content.

When you connect your YouTube account, the app:

Authentication tokens are managed by the Google Sign-In SDK on your device. OnlyPrompt does not transmit these tokens to any server operated by us.

Revoke access at any time:

OnlyPrompt's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google's Privacy Policy applies to data processed by Google services: policies.google.com/privacy

3. Website (onlyprompt.app)

The website onlyprompt.app does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics tools, or any form of user tracking. The site does not require registration or login.

The website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which may collect standard server access logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for operational purposes. These logs are not accessible to us and are governed by the hosting provider's own privacy policy.

Waitlist sign-up

If you choose to join the OnlyPrompt Ultra waitlist, we collect your email address, optionally your first name, your platform interest (Mac, iPhone, iPad), and a record of your consent. This data is stored securely on our own server located in Germany and is used solely to notify you when Ultra becomes available. We do not share this data with third parties. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@seb-space.de. Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Local Network / Peer-to-Peer

OnlyPrompt and OnlyPrompt Remote communicate over your local network using peer-to-peer connectivity (MultipeerConnectivity / Bonjour). This connection stays within your local network and does not pass through external servers.

5. Microphone Access

OnlyPrompt may request microphone access for voice-sync (teleprompter scroll driven by speech recognition). Audio is processed locally on your device using an offline speech recognition model. No audio data is sent to external servers.

6. Third-Party Services

Apple, macOS, and iOS may independently collect diagnostics, crash reports, or usage data through their own system services. This is outside OnlyPrompt's control and governed by Apple's privacy policy.

7. Data Protection (GDPR / DSGVO)

For users of the Ultra waitlist: you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Contact us at support@seb-space.de and we will respond promptly.

For all other services: since the apps do not collect personal data, there is no data to access, correct, delete, or port.

Legal basis for data processing through third-party services (Google, Apple): your explicit consent at the time of granting permissions (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

8. Children

OnlyPrompt is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
